Facebook is Developing a Cryptocurrency for Transfers in WhatsApp
#1
This is good news to break the ice for mass crypto adoption. With a stablecoin for use in WhatsApp people will learn to use crypto for money transfer and they will bring that knowledge to other coins hopefully.

Cardano is the most promising 3 gen. crypto right now.

It could and probably would be good for mass adoption, but how is facebook going to promote it?
Will they again ban all crypto ads and only promote this one?
Unfair competition!

That's a good point Hugues. Facebook is a democratic problem with their unknown censorship policy.

Interesting article - quite a lot of good potential in the list of companies looking into coins.  This will help gain general acceptance of crypto.

That will of course create a lot of attention to crypto in general.

In general a good thing publicity-wise and encouraging the general public to think a bit more deeply about crypto. Not sure I like the idea of a Facebook (or a JP Morgan Chase) crypto too much though.
