BITCOIN WON’T SCALE BECAUSE IT DOESN’T NEED TO, SAYS BLOCK.ONE CEO

And maybe he has a point;
Bitcoin is on its way to replace gold as a store of value and won’t scale “because it doesn’t need to,” says Block.One co-founder and CEO, Brendan Blumer.

I don't pay my cup of coffee with a bar of gold. I could but it would be unhandy. This does not mean that gold is a bad investment.
So if the majority thinks the same, it could be BTC never scales. Though it is not what Satoshi meant when he created BTC.
What is this thing that builds our dreams, yet slips away from us?

You can always argue that since BTC has a limited supply (like Gold) it can be considered as an alternative to normal investments to store your money. The precondition is that many thinks like you and do the same. If not BTC will become worthless.

It's true that many hold BTC because they expect BTC to increase in value, but BTC is still used heavily. Just click here and see the number of unconfirmed transaction at anytime https://www.blockchain.com/btc/unconfirmed-transactions. The list is alive and lots of transactions enters all the time.

BTC was not made to be anonymous, but private and not made for the scale of use it's having today. I have doomed BTC dead more times, but it seems to survive even other coins have better and much faster implementations. That BTC is here still is a bit of a mystery to me so maybe it's alive to replace Gold as a store of value.....but I wouldn't bet my money on it.
Cardano is the most promising 3 gen. crypto right now.
