InitiativeQ; one more new paypal
#1
I found this in my email.
No Idea if it is legit or not but I subscribed because they don't ask anything more than name and email.
I did some research but didn't find any negatives nor postives. Only doubts.
here is some review I found.
Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of credit cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this.

Here is my invite link: https://initiativeq.com/invite/BW77Ztb27

This link will stop working once I’m out of invites. Let me know after you registered, because I need to verify you on my end.

I suggest, subscribe and see what it gives. You never know.

I signed up using your referral link.

So in the about page you can see that a man called Saar Wilf is behind. https://www.linkedin.com/in/saar-wilf-b8a227/

It matches with the WhoIs search for the Initiativeq.com domain https://www.whois.com/whois/initiativeq.com that tells us the Israel company SW Ventures LTD registered the domain. "SW Ventures LTD" https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/...n-overview has as can be seen two members. Looks legit.

Let's just see and wait what it brings. I have seen on social media (facebook and twitter and linkedin) that people are looking for invites.
So if you post your invite you will get some subscribers. You can post directly from their website to make it easyer.

First thing that pop's up when you google it is these words, "SCAM", "FRAUD", "PYRAMID SCHEME" & "MONEY FROM NOWHERE?". So to me this looks way like a non legit thing. So from my perspective it looks kinda weird. They ask for a username and email? So maybe they could try hack it? Or spam it? Sell it to ads? I would say if you do sign up DON'T use your own email and make a username that is not based on your real name. So DON'T HAND OVER ANY REAL INFORMATION!
If you wanna donate in any cryptocurrency just send me a message and i will set it up(If i haven't) Smile All donations is appreciated

They can't hack you email account just because you give it out. :Big Grin I don't know if it's scam or not, but you are overreacting Junior.

You don't know who's on the other site of that monitor... My point is don't hand out your personal email to strangers....

junior, if you always react that way, you should never give your email to anyone again.
If you subscribe to an exchange you need to give your email. If you subscribe on amazon to buy something you give your email, ....
It is a matter of fact you never know who is on the other side of the monitor. But that's no reason for all this fuzz.
We are people that don't give up just like that.
It is not because we have been scammed by Mark Karlsson that we do not have to get involved in crypto anymore.
It is not because Belgium has been under attack from IS that I don't dare to come out of my home anymore.
If you want me to, I can come up with hundreds of other arguments.
  • if no money is asked it is probably not a scam
  • there is nothing wrong with piramid schemes when no money is involved from the piramids base. (The pension system in most countries is a piramid scheme). In this case it is cold solidarity.
  • The only harm they could do is to collect a huge list of addresses. Even that is no big deal for me.
I am not promoting this. I just bring this in as kind of info and to see how far this will bring us.
As you should know by now, I am here to help every single member in here. Maybe this can help us to get some extras.
And if it doesn't, that's ok too. At least we will not lose a cent.
