So this is more a hardware thing then? Sorry I must have picked this up wring originally. But surely as peer to peer it has to use t he internet to some extent and is nothing more than a specialist version of say TOR where we can do things secretly?

It is no hardware thing in it is certainly not a TOR thing.

Not it's not a hardware thing but it's close to the hardware as I see it (I have to read more). Every protocol running on top of TCP/UDP can be blocked by the hardware provider. That is what I could fear would happen.

Tor is something else. It's a "normal" html protocol swapping IP adresses and making users almost anonymous (not really if you don´t use a VPN service).

Tor also is famous for Onion links. It's good and it's bad. I like the idea of an anonymous site, but too many sites are used for "bad" stuff. Anyway, I'm not against it, but when we are talking drug markets I would prefer a legalization of especially cannabis. It would stop 90% of the crime all over Europe.

I am not sure I yet understand then! I will reread everything here and see if I can engage my brain!

Who currently provides the hardware that you are talking of?

Yes I will also need to read it.

Regarding the hardware. I'm talking about your internet provider. By law they can be forced to block certain sites (not protocols to my knowledge yet). For instance Piratebay is blocked in Denmark. It's stupid because there are so many proxies that you can easily access it. If you also have a VPN service then you just go ahead....
