Ripple #xrp will become a global national bank
#1
The headline is a bit misleading but it seems that Ripple want to make xrp the standard for money transfer and thereby acting like a nationalbank.

It's good news for all who are believing in a better future by integrating blockchain use more. One could argue that Ripple is not decentralised and therefore not a true crypto. Let's see if ripple will let go of the node control or not.

This is still good news for the cryptoworld

Cardano is the most promising 3 gen. crypto right now.

Decentralization of the banking system will not happen the first 10 years to come. Banks are to powerful and there are lots of people from national authorities involved in banking. It will happen eventually, but not for now. Let ripple do its work for now. The future will bring changes. If decentralization does not happen in the near future ripple could at least change the speed and cost of worldwide transactions.
What is this thing that builds our dreams, yet slips away from us?

I am surprised that the oil companies are just as big as they were years ago - they must have evolved significantly to avoid being dinosaurs in our greener / ecological times. I suspect the banks will do much the same and find new ways to earn our money. Sad
