Decentralized Marketplaces: The Best Alternative to eBay & Amazon

Finding a god reliable blockchain based company would be good but I think a lot of non-crypto people would be put off before even starting.  A good market leader is needed that can be publicised and trusted.  That will take time and people like us using it to iron out issues and bugs.

Unfortunately, AliExpress don't allow sellers from outside Mainland China to sell on there.

I believe it is only a matter of time until Alibaba Group expand and take over a large part of the eCommerce market-share in the West.

This seems not to be correct. A did trades with aliexpress in the past. My company ordered several parcels of led lights for my customers.
What is this thing that builds our dreams, yet slips away from us?

I was referring to being able to sell if you are from outside Mainland China. They don't allow that yet.

Aliexpress is something for exclusively Chinese sellers to sell from Mainland China to the rest of the world.

At least that is the case for the moment. Hopefully that situation changes.

I am a big fan of Aliexpress and have ordered there many times. It's a good system.

I have had a few things not turn up, but nothing expensive. There are some great prices but slow delivery. Problems have always been solved, not quickly necessarily, but always sorted.
