How much to keep online
#1
Hi all,

Not a problem for me to worry about, at least not yet...

But how much would you say it is safe / sensible to keep in one exchange at a time?

The market is unregulated so every exchange can shut down at any time without you getting access to your cryptos.

Bitstamp is 99% safe. I would trust them up to 20 bitcoins. C-Cex I trust around 2 Bitcoin. Poloniex also around 2 Bitcoins.

The others I don't trust much.

I don't let my bitcoins around for long... as soon as I get a little profit, I take it. In that way, I don't make the big hit, but I surely get 25% profit in one year, which is ok considering I have around 11 bitcoins more or less. For me, any profit is better than any lost. Wink

11 BTC is much money. I don't cash in yet Big Grin Most of my cryptos are also placed in others like Monero and Ethereum.

And I still have a fairly huge amount of Rimbit left, but they are worthless now Big Grin

In case any good people are reading this and thinking "yes ok I will do tht for him", I would happily take 0.1BTC for every RBT Smile

But Rimbit is dead and our money was stolen from us.

Bob...you are right and wrong. If we were bad people we kept silence but we are not. No one should EVER buy Rimbit again. Right!?
