Looks nice and user friendly UI.
Now we have to wait to see for adoption and to see if there will be lots of supply from people wanting to sell and buy stuff.

What is for sale?

Electronics, wine, art,...
Not much yet but it's new since a few days

I tried to use their software. It's really buggy and cumbersome. It's stupid that you have to add a wallet and name it "Market" for the market to show up. Creating a wallet is also cumbersome. Finally when I try to show listings there is nothing showing up.

That is not good enough if you want to compete with Ebay.

My conclusion is that it's too slow, too cumbersome and it doesn't work at all.

I will say for sure that the normal average man and woman is NOT going to use their platform and I highly doubt many will.

Strange you don't see any listing. You must be doing something wrong.
I found it very easy to setup the wallets.
The reason why you need a seperate wallet for the market is for privacy.

Yes that is really strange why we have two different experiences.

MAD ESCROW

One of the most common questions we get is, if the marketplace is decentralized, how can I trust I’ll get what I pay for?

Use a decentralized escrow

As buyers and vendors do not know and trust each other, there is no protection against one of the party never honoring their end of the trade unless a mechanism is put in place.

One common solution marketplaces and payment processors implement on their platforms is the use of a mutually trusted third party (usually the platform provider itself) as “escrow agent”.

However, not only does this represent scalability and privacy problems, but it also does not offer any protection against collusion between the escrow agent and one of the party. Particl, being a fully decentralized solution, solves this problem without the need for a third party by using what is called MAD escrow smart-contracts.
This type of escrow does not require any fee to be paid.

You should read following article about MAD escrow.

yes escrows are "trusted" services, so good to see MAD around
