At least they see what the problem is today.

I can't see a token is the solution to the current crises. First of all it's crypto and shops, banks, etc are NOT at all ready or even willing to deal with a token. It's more theory than something practical to implement.

I believe it could be a solution.
Let's have a discussion about this matter after 5 years from now.

We all in here would like to see a change of the current system. The current system and the people in control of the system want to keep it so how do we change to crypto adaptation? It's not easy.

This Easter many many people have gotten multiple mails about some guy/group has a password of yours. It could very well be true they have that password. They also say they have you recorded while you watched porn and that there is a keylocker on your machine. If you don't send x amount of bitcoin to a given address they will release the material to all your friends.

Cases like that is not good for crypto. People associate crypto with crime sadly. Of course the mails is just a wild guess and sadly some are stupid enough to pay.

They try to fix the broken system with the broken system.

It's going to get even worse since Italy and Spain is collapsing. If the rest of EU doesn't help, then they will probably leave EU with so many problems to follow that it will take to many pages to write about it.

The paper oil scam

Have you seen the headlines: the oil price went negative yesterday.
Yes, anyone who bought an oil future at its lowest point yesterday was paid $ 53.47 a barrel of crude for this.
Such an oil future is underlying 1,000 barrels of oil, so the buyer of that contract received $ 53,470 to receive 1,000 barrels of crude. (note: this only applies to oil with delivery for this month)

How is this possible?
Well, there is currently a huge surplus of oil and there is actually no more storage capacity to store the oil stocks.
That is why oil buyers suddenly get money when they buy oil.
Of course it goes against all conventional rules and the world is literally turned upside down here.
A negative oil price has far-reaching consequences for traders. It will become clear in the coming days which parties have burned their fingers on this.
A trader who went long contracts at $ 20 the day before thought he could lose up to $ 20,000 per contract.
But it now appears that the rules were changed during the game after the CME announced that oil prices can also become negative.
Nobody would have taken this into account.
A trader who bought 10 contacts at $ 20 thought he had $ 200,000 worth of exposure, but at one point saw a loss of over $ 700,000!
But for every loser, there is also a winner.
For example, someone who still had an oil tanker available could now do gold business.
With a VLCC tanker you can store 750,000 barrels of oil.
Theoretically, yesterday you could buy 750 oil contracts and get paid over $ 53 a barrel to fill up your tanker.
And at the same time, you could collect another $ 21 a barrel to deliver that oil again in a month.
This means a profit of $ 74 a barrel or $ 55.5 million for all of your oil tanker!
All absurd conditions. It may show what a mess the financial markets are currently.
Can we expect this kind of crazy situation in the precious metal market too?

Where the oil market suffers from a surplus of oil, it is rather the opposite for precious metal. Indeed, serious questions arise as to whether there is enough precious metal available to meet the physical delivery that buyers request.
I recently mentionned “the big decoupling” and despite various measures by the Comex and LBMA, the exchange rate difference between the spot and the future price remains.
In other words, the market is under stress and a huge short squeeze remains possible.
If the oil market showed anything yesterday, it is how dangerous the paper trade in raw materials has become.
However, those who want to invest in oil often have no other choice. After all, it is not possible for private individuals to store oil themselves.
Obviously that does not apply to gold and silver, so there is no longer any reason to participate in these paper air castles. If you want to invest in precious metal, do it PHYSICAL.
Both gold and silver remain attractively priced.
Don't be fooled by the all time high of gold (in euros). You have to set the gold price against the amount of money in circulation. Since billions and trillions have been printed in recent weeks, gold is currently trading at a cheaper price than it was a few months ago.
And if gold is cheaper, what about silver? The paper scam has pushed the price to a level we've never seen in the past thousands (!) Of years.

I was thinking in the General section as a new post. Sadly I don't have a huge tanker that can host oil but if I did I would happily get paid for taking the oil.

I believe this is a critically important report for this particular time.
It's a longish read, but in my opinion a "must" read, so I encourage you to take the time to do so. It's no exaggeration to say your future could depend upon it.
Best thing to do is to print it out and to read whenever you see some spare time.

Yes it's a very long read. Also too long and time consuming for me to read. What do you mean by the future could depend on reading it?
