It's it the same as the "scam" exchange EFIN?

Don't know yet.
I have contacted them.
Let's see if they reply and how and what they reply.

Don't call everything a scam before you know more.

It would be interesting to own an exchange, but this seems too good to be true. Also why wouldn't they just keep it for them self it it's this great. I will stay out but follow your findings.
PS: Also if you should own an exchange i think it will be a lot of work, maybe even a full time thing.

EFIN and TokenPay is what I would call scam now. They simply don't deliver anything as promised.

Junior, I believe you don't see the correct way.
It is not meant that you own a complete exchange only by yourself.
It is meant as an exchanged owned by the community. See it more or less like having shares in a company.

Will it be great? That's the question. It will also depend on the success of this exchange.
If you are part of that exchange, but no one is using it... No or poor profits.

As a quick answer, I would think owning an exchange is great.
Whether this is a good exchange or not is a vital question!

Having dealt on only 2 exchanges I do think that there is huge potential for making money if the exchange is secure and easy to use. I did not once check exchanges to see which ones offered best rates but went on the basis that they were easy and recommended (by Mark Karlsson on Rimbit!).

So if there was a good exchange to invest in, I would go for it.

So the Burstex is a decentralized exchange for all to have a part of. You can invest in that if you believe it's going to be a success.

Kraken had an offer a while ago to invest in their centralized exchange.

I do not think an exchange will ever make as much as BTC or ETH, or lose as much as them either! But it could easily be a safe bet that keeps on giving small but reasonable returns for a while.
