My Trip to Islay
#11
Just read your story Hugues... I would have hundreds of stories like that to write... I really can relate! Well, that makes stories to tell to our grand children... Wink

Lucky you! My stories are more boring.... anyway right now I'm in a stream of small accidents. Nothing serious just very annoying.
Cardano is the most promising 3 gen. crypto right now.

I tried Kilchoman (a near neighbour distillery on Islay) as a new spirit and loved it so much I bought a cask! No regrets there Smile
I shall keep my eyes out for Ardnahoe and buy/try as soon as I see some.

@Cell as a big traveller you will have encountered many fun, exciting and perhaps scary trips to offset the usual boring ones! I have not much to say other than the time armed police in Czech demanded cash from me - the guns were not out of the holsters but it was clear that we were expected to pay them!

Kilchoman is very good stuff. I visted them some years ago.
Ardnahoe sells private casks but at 7500 pounds.

I had not seen Ardnahoe casks for sale but £7500 is way beyond what I can afford, even with some friends sharing the cask. Sad

I hope it is a bargain for whoever buys it as it would be a lot of money to spend on something awful! But I guess the sorts of people who can afford to buy a cask at £7500 can afford to get the occasional bad one!
