JPMorgan Chase to issue its own cryptocurrency
#1
After saying Bitcoin is dead and has no future JPMorgen now issue it's own cryptocurrency... Since they don't want anything other than profit it means that crypto is here to stay. That is just another approval of crypto which is good. Do I like JPMorgen? NO. They  don't do anything good for the society.

It is an indirect confession. They know traditional banking is threatened by crypto.

You don't like JBMORGAN?
I don't like any bank.

JPM COIN is a stable coin. It will be backed 1:1 by the USD. What if fiat collapses?
It is some kind of Ethereum fork build with Quorum.
It is only available for institutional institutions.

Look what I found

JP Morgan coin is a scam - it's solving a problem that has already been solved by Bitcoin. For centuries big banks have had a monopoly on currency transfers - and they charge a large premium for essentially sending digital IOUs to each other. Now they are taking our freely available technology as their own. Simply said: Why should we trust a bank that has been fined for: toxic securities abuses, money laundering, consumer protection violation ...

Examples where JP Morgan has been fined:

It’s important to point out that JPM Coin is NOT a cryptocurrency

J.P. Morgan announced JPM Coin, which CNBC hailed as “the first cryptocurrency by a U.S. bank.”
Except it’s not really a cryptocurrency.
Even In its own FAQ, J.P. Morgan draws a distinction between JPM Coin and crypto.
While cryptocurrency focuses on being open and transparent, JPM Coin calls itself: “Permissioned … Only institutional customers passing J.P. Morgan KYC can transact with these coins.”
If that is the case, why does mainstream news frame JPM Coin as a new kind of crypto?
J.P. Morgan could have simply announced a new inter-bank settlement network that lets its customers instantly transfer JPM-deposited dollars.
