  Did he stop posting?
Posted by: Carsten - 2016-12-08, 09:41 AM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (6)

Since Tuesday there has been no post in his forum. No talking with himself. Is he still alive?

Regarding IGG did you guys see the updated terms? Maybe it's a reaction from the posts we made to them. I also wrote to them that they can not close their eyes when he is mass mailing and accusing us for dumping and harming Rimbit.

"So as a community, are you prepared to let Carsten Breum and Byrestraits continue their destructive ways and continue to "spit" on your Rimbit?"

  A future rogue one...
Posted by: Cell - 2016-12-06, 04:40 AM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (5)

SteinsMadScientist Is about to become a rogue one full time... he asked good questions in several posts. One funny one was about the "legal team" of Rimbit:

That's great to hear. What is the name of the firm? It would be great to know a bit more about them.

Mark's answer:

They are a private firm that I was introduced to, by an associate in Bangkok and since then, I have remained in contact with this firm on a business and personal relationship for over 5 years
Which leads to a dead end web site... I guess he took minutes to setup a false website just to answer this one!

Never heard of a "private" legal firm who is so private that you can't find any of their facts anywhere. lol

Indiegogo answer to complaint about Marks massmail
Posted by: Carsten - 2016-12-05, 01:26 PM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (7)

We saw in the previous mass mail from Mark he was talking about me and ByreStaits. I wrote them and said I was a victim of libel. I also asked them to stop Marks possibility to mass mail.  Sadly I got a nonsense answer:

"Hi Carsten,

Thanks for checking in about this. We are sorry to hear that this has been your experience with this campaigner. In cases like this, Indiegogo is unable to become involved in disputes between a campaign owner and a contributor.

Indiegogo values crowdfunding as a collaborative, community-driven endeavor. At the heart of any successful collaboration is open communication. If you believe that you have become victim of libel, it would be best to reach out to the campaigner directly to clear your name and the issue.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

  His new mail from IGG
Posted by: Cell - 2016-12-05, 12:53 PM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (6)

Here is the essantial. I put only the part that needs to be clarified... the part about the electric car is 100% irrelevant...

We are bringing in a miner free crypto that is purely community run and when we first came up with the idea, we where told it would never work. That was 3 years ago!

Really? He said himself that Rimbit was a company and that the forum was the community... and that there were nothing between them two antities... he sure need to make his mind about that!

So now we need more of the community to look past the negative media that is doing its hardest to suppress Rimbit and also doing its best to destroy Rimbit on Exchanges.

Hum... I see no media paying attention to Rimbit neither in a positive or negative way... and, he is the only one dumping his free Rimbit on the exchange... everybody knows that!

Its even started employing Rimbit members to act as their "shills" to discredit everything we have worked at achieving.

I don't understand that one... what is "Its"... who are those members... there are perhaps 2 members on the so call "community"???

So please support us on Patreon

Oh yeah... here it comes the part where he ask for money...

We want to make Crypto great again !

The only days Rimbit was great were those severals DAYS where some of us (we were perhaps 3 or 4) pushed Rimbit on the exchange to around 3 cents with very good volume. The sad part of the story is that we probably bought him new toys, because he was the only one dumping and making money... thoses 4 days that Rimbit was great... it was great for him because he was making money on the exchange and on IGG big time... and all the other years "it was great" for him because he made thousands of USD scamming us!

He is the only one who ever made money with Rimbit and that was because who he calls the Rogue ones were making all the efforts and giving him money... apart from that, Rimbit was never great, and it is 100% his choice because we were about to make it great... for the first time ever.

Architecture for a Service with Multiple Clients using DispatcherObject
Posted by: Carsten - 2016-12-04, 07:10 PM - Forum: Uncategorized - Replies (2)

Guys....this is hardcore programming... If you are no programmer/developer you may skip this now.

I just published an article describing an architecture for having multiple clients on a service where the clients are notified on it's own thread. It's more robust for finding problems later on. I'm using the DispatcherObject for holding the threads.

The blockchain is gonna change the world
Posted by: Carsten - 2016-12-03, 05:09 PM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (7)

Imagine your bank account. You live in the illusion that your money is safe in the bank and that it is yours. In reality it comes down to a record in the database owned by the bank. (A record is just a row in a database table, almost like a row in a spreadsheet) So how does the current system work? It works because you TRUST the bank and the service they provide, but in reality they could at any moment prevent you from having access to the database and therefore access to your money. So it is with the deed for your house. When you vote etc. You trust third parties! In reality they can manipulate the transaction history since it's not tamper proof and they can manipulate your account as they see fit, but we have been told again and again by the men in power that this is the system we have to trust.  What if these third parties are unnecessary? Many from the blockchain development teams believe that the blockchain can replace these third parties and so do I.

Imagine a truly decentralized banking system based on the blockchain where the blockchain validations is done by our "wallets" and the transactions are public to everyone, but they can't see the content because they don't hold the private key to unlock the information. The math and algorithms that protect your money is a derivative from what started the blockchain namely Bitcoin by Satoshi Nakamoto. They are based on rules and math that is icecold to bribe and best of all you don't have to trust a single third party, but instead the many "third parties" that are part of the validation. As we have seen even the smartest minds can not do a "double spend" attack on the Bitcoin blockchain even it's open source and public. No one has succeeded in such an attack. The Bitcoin blockchain has survived for 9 years now!! If we let the blockchain take over these kinds of services we have full documentation of every transaction with no possibility to manipulate the history (we can manipulate the current system today and I think it is done by the banks) and no possibility to manipulate your "account". Such a scenario scares the CEO's of the banking system since they no longer can manipulate the currency flow as they like (like today). The too expensive services of the banks can be replaced by microloan to fulfill a normal loan or the bank (if they wanna join) can lend you the money, but then it will fully transparent. Such a future will come anytime soon. It's more secure and everyone can participate in the validation process.

Halleluja and welcome to the future  Smile

Well I never for one moment thought that he would retire!  Well done Nico on being F1 champion and taking such a decision to walk away when no doubt he could earn many millions by staying on for a few years more.

Exclamation Nasty people IGG post!
Posted by: Carsten - 2016-12-01, 09:34 AM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (20)

So now the scammer Marcello Karlsson made yet another IGG mass mail (~ max. 50-100 people I guess).
Here it is:

"I was messaged by a member who wanted to know about the exchanges and what he could do to make it better.

After a chat back and forth, he mentioned that he will do what he can for the community (not just himself) and start bringing Rimbit in in value.

So he made some trades, small. but honest trades

Then you have some evil hearted people who amuse themselves with lowering the value.

The only way to make Rimbit better is to make sure these horrible people cannot continue to make impacts like they do.

So as a community, are you prepared to let Carsten Breum and Byrestraits continue their destructive ways and continue to "spit" on your Rimbit?

The only horrible people is Marcello Karlsson aka Admin aka DocSavage aka Lamrich aka sockpuppets. Why?

Because you have been victum of a scam to make Mark live like a Queen in Thailand. To those who don't yet know the truth you should read the exposure of Marks lies here: http://rimbithub.com/

You can also go to the members only (you need to be registered) and read this for instance http://rimbit.dk/showthread.php?tid=9

  And now this new message
Posted by: Cell - 2016-11-29, 07:28 AM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (13)

From IGG:

Great time to purchase from exchanges
There are some fantastic sales to be had on the exchanges.
You can view what people are selling their Rimbit for on coinmarketcap

This is the price Rimbit is going for and it is you the community can change the price as high or as low as you want!

He really thinks that we are idiots... he comes here, read our posts, and then try to answer it with his post... and also write some BS like this...

We all know that he is the only one selling his millions of Rimbits on the exchange!! With 250M, at only half of half a cent, he still makes 125K USD! Something that will make him live forever in Thailand!

And,  no, there is not any businessman willing to buy Rimbit. I think he is trying to make us believe that he will step down. Soon, a Chinese company will take over Rimbit, leaded by someone named Lamwong who will explain to us how much he knows about the Rimbit story and that he is willing to help us... if we buy some Rimbits, of course. So easy to see his next moves... and look at his next IGG post when he'll tell us that the negativity over the Rogue group made those businessman so afraid that they decided to not take over Rimbit. :p

Also this new one on the forum:

Rimbit's legal team is now handling discussions/negotiations with the interested parties

I have decided to step aside and let our legal team take on the discussions as they will be able to answer any legal questions, plus also help in transferring Rimbit to the possible new owners.

There has been a hint that they will suspend all sales for an extended time, should they purchase Rimbit and in that event, I will be turning OFF the coupons and also removing all Rimbit that is currently for sale.
The market they are aiming at is a Billion dollar industry and they require a coin that can do the job, without any of the mining hullabaloo, so the coin can run as a token of exchange.

In Japan there is a game called Pachinko Smile

"Our legal team" being Lamaliar, DocSayOnlyTheTruth and AdmitIt. Three great guys that I've met when I was in law school. :p

  The early adopter question
Posted by: Cell - 2016-11-28, 06:24 AM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (16)

I guess you saw this early adopter question:

I've sent this mail on 22.10.16 but did not receive an answer.

Hello Rimbit-Team,

in the original campaign i did buy Rimbit for

250USD: Bestell-ID(Order-ID): 76, Beitragsdatum (buying date): April 23, 2014

500USD: Bestell-ID 310, Beitragsdatum Mai 15, 2014

50USD: Bestell-ID 504, Beitragsdatum Mai 22, 2014

Name and Amount of my orders are visible on Indiegogo. I am registered as Steve Emric, real Name Markus Richter.

For me as a student (expensive medicin university) this was a lot of money for those 63k coins, that are now buyable for about 12USD instead of 800USD.

I know this is an unsure campaign but i do really want to see a little effort for my big Contribution, if Rimbit gains worth. As big Supporter of the campaign then, i do have now nothing instead of all them little contributors who have had only little impact on financing Rimbit (in relation).

Please give me a short answer on this, i would be really glad if we find a more fair solution.

kind regards,

And his usual BS answer:

Just like Bitcoin, we do not set the value of Rimbit. (We can set what its sold at, but the value is decided by everyone, via trading, as is the same for Bitcoin, USD, GBP, CAD or any currency)
The value of Rimbit is based on popularity, trade on exchanges and demand

The community (just like Bitcoin), needs to get behind the coin, so "a little effort" is required by the community to boost the price and after nearly 3 years, the efforts of the community, reflect the Rimbit price.
However, the current price does not reflect Rimbit at this stage as people like some of the "elite" members have chosen to take matters into their own hands and destroy yours and everyone elses Rimbit value.

There is a solution, which has been in place since day 1 of the campaign and that is to get behind Rimbit, promote it, encourage trade on exchanges.
As a medical student, I am guessing that simple logic is easy for you and you would know that Rimbit is only as valuable as the community make it.

We have asked people to get behind Rimbit for all these years via the IGG campaign, the forum and emails, but if everyone decides to let someone else "make a little effort" then it wont go far.

If everyone started making an effort today, then things will change, but expecting Rimbit or just a handful of people to do ALL the effort is just making things harder for everyone and we have tried very hard to let people know what is needed.

Its the same as building the best, most efficient car in the world. If nobody talks about it, buys it, encourages others to buy it, then that car will never progress any further and will eventually die.

But... the way we built Rimbit has made it so that it cannot die as there is no mining and therefor only requires wallets to be opened to continue Rimbit to function and that is the safety valve that makes Rimbit an asset that only requires the community to make a little effort to make it wonderful.

That makes me wonder... can we still ask questions on the IGG campaign? We should find a way to reach all those early adopters, this member ask a really good question and got BS as an answer. Reaching him and others wondering will help in stopping that nonsense scam... :/
