And this one... where he compares himself to Donald Trump

Again... so funny...

"Rimbit may hold the main wallet, but it has begun separating the people from the business aspect, by pushing the people to decide their own destiny with the Rimbit currency, while the business end simply moves the Rimbit out of the main wallet and into the hands of the community.

The community is 100% in control of the valuation that it holds and the business end of Rimbit will for the first time, take its direction from the efforts of the community and in turn, when the community fails, so will Rimbit and when the community prospers, so will Rimbit."

Meaning:

"I am the only one making money with this system. If Rimbit fails to gain value, it's only because you dumb Rimbit followers are not working enough. It is not because I am selling them at near zero-value" and because I am controling 95% of the ecosystem".

Another IGG post....OMG why don't they stop this scam
Posted by: Carsten - 2016-11-14, 10:51 AM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (22)

Yet another #scam post from Marcelo Karlsson. It's sooo sad IGG let him continue massmail. "The buisness side of Rimbit"  = "Give me more money so I don't have to work. I laugh at your stupidity all the way to the bank. You are sooo stupid you don't see my scam even after all the exposure there has been."

The scam post:

Thats why Rimbit has done its best to distance itself from the “lobbyists” in terms of Bitcoin, as it is governed by China, by the mere fact that China controls the majority of the Bitcoin network and only THEY can choose what is best for the Bitcoin community as they hold the balance of power.

Rimbit may hold the main wallet, but it has begun separating the people from the business aspect, by pushing the people to decide their own destiny with the Rimbit currency, while the business end simply moves the Rimbit out of the main wallet and into the hands of the community.

The community is 100% in control of the valuation that it holds and the business end of Rimbit will for the first time, take its direction from the efforts of the community and in turn, when the community fails, so will Rimbit and when the community prospers, so will Rimbit.

Never will any lobbyist miner or mining farm ever be in a position to manipulate the ONLY currency that does not need them.

Whether you approve or disapprove of the business side of Rimbit, doesn’t really matter as it has created its own extinction by means of its only function, which is to move the currency into the hands of the community, which when complete, seals the business end of Rimbit as an end of an era, with the only holders of Rimbit being the community!

This is how ingenious the system that Rimbit has employed, as it makes every decision, every action of the community, solely responsible of itself, as each individual who holds Rimbit has the ultimate decision of how rich or poor they wish to be!

  Proof-of-Stake Protocol
Posted by: Carsten - 2016-11-13, 12:31 PM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (7)

This video is very long. It's a young guy working on a PhD in Denmark at the University of Aarhus. His name is Bernardo David and he is so enthusiastic about explaining the crypto concepts that you immediately like the guy.  The first 1 hour 24 min goes with explaining the concept Commitment, Cointossing, secret sharing, verified secret sharing, Guaranteed Output Delivery (GOD) of Cointossing. Be warned the first section is not for the average person. I still miss an hour of the presentation, but if you move forward to around 1 hour 24 min he will explain simply the PoW (Bitcoin) vs. PoS (PeerCoin, Rimbit, Leocoin etc.). Clearly he argues that the incentive to continue mine Bitcoin will decline and there it will stop. He also explain the Bitcoin as we already know is NOT decentralized but is controlled by 5 mining pools located in China and is therefore now a centralized system.

Look at the history.....we have discussed the platform but the currency seems to be declining, so maybe that's a signal that Ethereum is not that great after all....or?

  Take a look at LEOCoin.

$0.514629 (11.42%)

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/leocoin/

Take a look at the volume of that PoS coin. It looks like they can be huge. The have an app in the Apple appstore. Think that's quite unique for cryptocurrency. (I could be wrong since I have turned away from Apple because of their "Admin" like policies).

Thumbs Down Reboot Plan: Moving Forward With Plans Of The Past

Indiegogo let the scammer and liar Marcelo Karlsson continue to mass mail his usual nonsense. He has discussed with himself not with silent members because there are none. He blames the dark side (meaning us) for his own failure and broken promises. What a pathetic human. The real truths is that Rimbit failed because of his bipolar uncontrollable lying and manipulation behaviour. That's it. That's the real truth. Below are the usual spelling errors discovered by ByreStraits http://rimbithub.com/

From IGG:

"Over the past few weeks, I have been discussing with members who have essentially remained silent, but have quietly decided to voice opinions and suggestions on the current situation of Rimbit,
that on discussion, have made sense and can be easily rectified.

Back on track:
We have all witnessed what can happen when it is allowed that the community begin to take control over aspects of Rimbit as with it comes a dark side that isnt much different to what has been played out on the Global arena, via the use of media to twist facts/situations and also the creation of false flags...

So to get Rimbit back to full operational status, we need to use what we have learned over the past 12 months and make changes so these radicals that are in their minority, cannot take away the goals and hard work that many of the members have done and most importantly, taken away the core essence of Rimbit which is just a simple coin and nothing more.

Before we outline the strategy, we need to stress some important situations:
There is a distinct and un-crossable line between the community and the company, that cannot be breached as it has been done, so there will be no tolerance for breaking the forum rules.

Back to the Roots of Rimbit:
We need to set our goals back to what we initially proposed, which is getting Rimbit to $3 USD.
It CANNOT be done by the Company simply raising the value of Rimbit at whim, either by decision or community outcry."

Question is if that will change anything for the crypto world?

Will the paradigm shift start now?

  Mark the sophist
Posted by: Cell - 2016-11-07, 07:03 PM - Forum: General discussion - Replies (2)

It is so funny how hard he tries... and keep his 3 or 4 members still following him. In a recent post, he wrote:

"Perhaps you will stand up for your righteous ways and fund the NODES, that I have funded for the past 2 1/2 years. After all, being independent requires responsibilities to the community... "

Sorry but Mark did NOT pay for the nodes for the past 2 1/2 years... He did NOT pay for anything... WE all did... In fact, if he is willing to give us back all our money, I suggest that we could pay him back the real cost needed to keep Rimbit alive: nodes, website, domain name... Why not? We would have around 97% of our money back. Wink
