Now, we know that Rimbit is #scam, let's talk about it and try to find a true alternative.

On Udemy you can find a course called "Build a Blockchain and a Cryptocurrency from Scratch"  https://www.udemy.com/build-blockchain/.

I'm halfway through the course that is excellent in explaining the inner workings of blockchain. You will build a blockchain slowly and in time the instructor add more and more complexity when needed. Even I'm not yet done with the course I will recommend this to everyone.

The code is written in Java script by use of a tool called Node.js and the editor used is the exceptional good free Microsoft Visual Studio Code (not the same as Visual Studio). He also brings in a free tool called Postman. It will of course be an advantage if you know a bit about programming. Some part could be a bit hard if you never have done any programming. That said from the comments I can see some nonprogrammers are trying.
It looks very interesting indeed. A lot of lectures and a lot of time though. I guess it is only a day off work really but trying to find that number of hours in a few evenings is tough going. Definitely looks worth it although maybe beyond my level Sad

Yes even for me it's hard to find the time Bob. I have work and another project to work on, house that need fixing next week (not by me) and some preparations need to be done, and then I need to prioritize my special diet and exercise. I have to admit that on my birthday yesterday I had Amarone (redwine) when my mom and her "boyfriend" was visiting. My daughter was also home to say congrats.

I get mails from udemy a few times per week.
I wanted to start the course but I have so little time.
I know Hugues. We also have a project to finish but learning the inner working of blockchain is a good investment.
Ohh Happy Birthday Carsten! (Belatedly!)

Thanks Cell. I hope that crypto will be used by common people and challenge the rotten banking system we have now. If I earn a lot while supporting the change it would be great for me personally.

Regarding rotten banking system I'm sure you all heard about white washing of money in Eastern Europe by the largest Danish bank called "Danske Bank". I'm a customer in there. I don't understand why the CEO can leave with a huge bonus. You fuck up. Thanks...here is your bones of millions of USD.

In banking world people are rewarded when they fuck up the business. Strange but a matter of fact.
